Pirelli confirms final tyre choices

Pirelli has opted for the medium-soft tyre combination for the returning Mexican Grand Prix, while the selections for Texas, Sao Paulo and Abu Dhabi remain the same. The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez will make its first appearance on the Formula 1 calendar in more than two decades when it hosts the Mexican race on November 1. The event is also back-to-back with the United States GP in Austin and, with the circuit still new, it was decided to go with the white-marked mediums and yellow-branded softs for both races. Medium-soft will also be available for the penultimate race, the Brazilian GP, while the season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit will have the soft and supersoft combination. The...
