Ericsson handed pit lane start

Caterham F1 Team Marcus Ericsson will start from the pit lane after he was penalised for causing a collision during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix. Ericsson was on a flying lap during the final moments of Q1 when he made an error at Mirabeau and crashed into the barriers. The accident also involved Felipe Massa, who was on the outside of the corner allowing Ericsson through. The Brazilian progressed to Q2 but could not participate due to the damage sustained to his Williams FW36. "On my final push lap I was behind Massa going into turn five and he moved offline a bit which meant I had to change my braking point," said Ericsson. "I locked up and went into the barrier...
