Pirelli expecting two or three stop Indian Grand Prix

Pirelli are predicting a two or three stop Indian Grand Prix. Last year's race was won with a one stop strategy but the more aggressive tyre nominations for the 2013 round – the medium and soft compounds – will see drivers stop at least twice. With the Buddh International Circuit evolving throughout the qualifying hour, a range of tyre strategies were used to decide the grid for Sunday's race. Four drivers opted to use the medium compound rubber in the top 10 shoot-out to give them a longer first stint – Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso, Sergio Perez and Jenson Button.
