Red Bull Insist There’s No Engine Clause In Max Verstappen’s Contract
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has insisted that Max Verstappen does not have a so-called “engine clause” in his contract which could see him leave the team if they are unable to secure a competitive power unit after Honda withdraws from F1. “There is no such clause in his contract,” Horner said, adding that “The contracts between the driver and the team are private, but there is definitely no engine-related clause in Max’s contract. “ READ: Sebastian Vettel Expects Ferrari To Be Fighting In The Midfield At Eifel GP Continuing, Horner emphasised that the Dutch ace is “very comfortable” at Red Bull. “He is competitive.
