Alpine wants to make strides with Alonso: 'It's all aerodynamics'
Alpine scored 22 points during the first three Grands Prix, two of which came from Fernando Alonso. Although the stable can be reasonably satisfied with the opening of the season, it wants to make quick steps forward. Indeed, Otmar Szafnauer is keen to give Alonso the car he needs to fight with the competition. Because of the new regulations, many teams within Formula 1 are still searching for the right form. Even Alpine does not yet feel that it is getting everything out of the cars of Alonso and Esteban Ocon. Szafnauer therefore believes that Alpine needs to make quick steps.
