Mazepin: Sanctions against Russian athletes is 'cancel culture'

Former Haas driver Nikita Mazepin says he disagrees with the sanctions imposed on himself and other Russian athletes, calling the punishments "cancel culture". Ahead of the start of the 2022 F1 season, in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Haas elected to terminate its contract with Mazepin and with title sponsor Uralkali, the fertilizer giant majority-owned by the driver's father, Russian oligarch Dmitry Mazepin.
