UEFA and FIFA suspend Russian teams; FIA reinstates emergency meeting
An emergency meeting of the FIA's World Motor Sport Council will take place on Tuesday. It will be a special meeting about the situation in Ukraine. The position of Nikita Mazepin will also be indirectly discussed. Another FIA meeting on Ukraine An FIA spokesman has confirmed to several journalists that the FIA will meet on Tuesday to further discuss the situation in Ukraine. Last Thursday, Ukraine was invaded by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The FIA already decided the following day not to allow the Russian Grand Prix to take place in September under these circumstances.
