Alpine unveil their 2022 challenger, a pink-and-blue A522
Alpine have taken the covers off their 2022 car, the A522, just two days before the start of pre-season testing. The team unveiled a pink-and-blue car after signing water treatment company BTW as their title sponsor in a multi-year deal. Formula 1 has a new look this season, the sport adopting ground effect aerodynamics in a bid to create cars that are easier to follow which would lead to better racing. To date no two teams designs have been the same with the nose, sidepods and edges of the floors catching the eye. But with the Alpine, we're going to have to a little longer to see the actual A522 in all of its glory as the car is already in Barcelona for a filming day on Wednesday. Here it...
