'Verstappen deserved this title, but so too did Lewis'
The sweltering Formula 1 season is behind us. While Lewis Hamilton was the favourite going into the race year, it was Max Verstappen who won the top prize in the end. Chris Medland enjoyed the race in Abu Dhabi, he writes on the official website of Formula 1. Hamilton seemed to be well on his way to the world title in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but nothing was further from the truth. A hectic final stage of the race saw Verstappen closing in on the Briton and making it easy for him to overtake Hamilton.
