This happened last year at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez

The Formula 1 teams are back at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez this weekend after two years. The Mexican circuit was not on the racing calendar last year because of the corona pandemic, but this year the fans can enjoy Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton again. What happened in the meantime on the circuit? Last year the Mexican Grand Prix was supposed to take place but the corona crisis threw a spanner in the works. Several countries decided not to allow a Formula 1 race, including Mexico. It didn't mean that Mexico kept the circuit completely empty though, because the country decided to use the space smartly. Mexico built a hospital to help people with the coronavirus to come out on top...
