Lewis Hamilton makes crucial mistake in pursuit of Verstappen

Lewis Hamilton was in full attack on Max Verstappen's lead after the first series of pitstops. Both drivers were stuck in traffic and Hamilton made up time on the Dutchman, when he pushed a little too hard in the hairpin and slid down the track. Luck in an accident for Hamilton Hamilton initially appeared to be stuck in the gravel trap, but miraculously he was able to find the reverse of the Mercedes and drive out of the gravel trap. He is not out of the race for points yet. Especially since just after this incident there was a big crash between Valtteri Bottas and George Russell, after which the race was stopped with a red flag.
