Full result VT1: Bottas the fastest, Verstappen in third place
Valtteri Bottas was the fastest during the first free practice in Russia. Furthermore it was a training with a lot of spins and crashes. Latifi's crash even caused a short red flag. Valtteri Bottas was again the fastest in VT1. The Finn set a time of 1:34.923 on the soft tyre. After him came Daniel Ricciardo of Renault, a great achievement of the Australian.
