Raikkonen: Qualifying display a disaster for Alfa Romeo

A typically succinct Kimi Raikkonen labelled qualifying “a disaster” for Alfa Romeo but feels the team is not extracting the maximum from its C39. Alfa Romeo was slowest in qualifying for the third successive event and endured a double Q1 knockout once more. Kimi Raikkonen qualified slowest of the 20 drivers at the Hungaroring while team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi was only 19th. “It was obviously a disaster but there’s a lot of things we can do better and then, of course, we also have to find a lot more speed in the car,” he said.
