Ricciardo: Monaco GP cancellation is one that 'hurts'
For Daniel Ricciardo, the reality of F1's race cancellations are starting to set in, and the Renault driver feels particularly sad with Monaco's scrapping. The global coronavirus pandemic has hit Formula 1 hard, with the sport's chiefs forced to cancel the first eight races of the 2020 world championship. For Ricciardo, the permanent cancellations of his home race in Melbourne and of Monaco, where the Aussie resides during the F1 season, represent a particularly painful gut punch.
