Lewis Hamilton's engineer Pete Bonnington back earlier than expected

Mercedes has confirmed that Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer Pete Bonnington is back in action in Austin this weekend, having been absent from Mexico. Bonnington underwent a personal medical procedure in the UK and was expected to miss the events in Mexico and the United States, and was also a doubt for Brazil. But Bonnington travelled to the Circuit of the Americas on Thursday and will be back acting as Hamilton’s race engineer for this weekend’s potentially title-deciding race.
