Haas to run identical cars in Belgium after split-spec experiment

Haas has confirmed it will use the same spec cars this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix for both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen following several races of experimentation. The team switched Grosjean to their season-opening Australian spec car at the British GP, whereas Magnussen ran with the then latest spec introduced in Spain in order to try and understand their struggles. That experiment continued in Germany – where Magnussen took several upgrades – and again in Hungary, but team boss Guenther Steiner has now confirmed they will both run the latest upgrades this weekend at Spa.
