Gasly expecting performances to improve after rocky start

Pierre Gasly says he is ready to step up his performance level after a difficult start to his Red Bull career. The Frenchman has been left behind by his teammate Max Verstappen so far this season. Instead of fighting for podium finishes, Gasly has found himself down in the midfield amongst teams Red Bull will not consider its rivals. Ahead of F1's 1000th race at the Chinese Grand Prix, Gasly conceded that he had not been performing at the level expected of him but was sure he would show improvement sooner rather than later.
