2021 regulation changes "critical" according to McLaren

McLaren CEO Zak Brown believes that the rule changes in 2021 will be crucial to the long term health of Formula One. Brown admitted he was worried about the two-tier formula that has been developing over the past few seasons. Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull have pulled away from their competitors and are clear at the top whilst everyone else continues to lag behind. The regulation changes could bring in a budget cap that many in the paddock consider vital to the survival of smaller teams and for the improvement of competition, with McLaren in need of a return to past glories soon.
