Ericsson delighted with career-best qualifying in Brazil

Brazilian Grand Prix – Marcus Ericsson will start the race from sixth place after delivering the best qualifying performance of his career, beating team-mate Charles Leclerc. The Sauber man qualified in seventh place as ‘best of the rest' in Brazil, but will be promoted to sixth place after Daniel Ricciardo's grid penalty. Sauber registered their best team qualifying results since the 2012 Japanese Grand Prix, where Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez qualified in third and fifth respectively. It also marked the third time that Marcus Ericsson had progressed into Q3 this season and, in turn, the Swedish driver took his best-ever qualifying result with seventh place, at the head...
