Ocon hit with gearbox penalty in Brazil

Esteban Ocon has become the second driver to pick up a five-place grid drop for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Following the conclusion of FP2 at Interlagos on Friday, where Ocon finished in the top 10, Force India confirmed that they have chosen to change his gearbox as a precautionary measure. Ocon's previous gearbox has not completed six races and so a five-place grid penalty will be enforced. He joins Daniel Ricciardo in falling down the order as the Aussie has also got a five-place grid penalty to overcome for taking on his sixth turbocharger of his wretched season. Lewis Hamilton, Lance Stroll and Kevin Magnussen are also racing with new gearboxes in Brazil but they are all penalty-free...
