Mexico GP organisers keen to sign a new F1 deal

Organisers of the Mexican Grand Prix say they are confident that a new agreement with Liberty Media can be reached to extend the country's race on the F1 calendar. Since returning to the calendar in 2015, the venue has proved hugely popular with fans in Mexico, regularly drawing in high numbers. Organisers revealed that the race on Sunday was a sell-out with a 135,407-strong crowd there to witness a hugely entertaining race that resulted in a dominant win for Max Verstappen and the crowning of the 2018 world champion in Lewis Hamilton.
