Mercedes reveals technical reshuffle

Mercedes has announced a planned transition of its senior technical leadership which will see the baton handed on to the next generation of leaders within the team for 2019 and beyond. Aldo Costa (right) has chosen to move into the role of Technical Advisor to the team from the beginning of 2019, in order to spend more time with his family in Italy. Costa joined Mercedes in 2011, following a highly successful F1 career with Ferrari and Minardi, and played a central role in structuring the team's technical organisation and leading it to championship success.
