Williams to keep wing despite disastrous qualifying

Williams will persist with the rear wing that caused aerodynamic stalls in qualifying last weekend at Silverstone. Williams brought the new rear wing in at Silverstone - however, Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin both spun out in the early stages of Q1. Chief Technical Offier Paddy Lowe claims there is 'nothing fundamentally wrong' with the new rear wing. Lowe says that the updated design will remain part of Williams' plans in future events. "We put some new parts on the car and we did our normal evaluations to check we had all the stability we need on such parts," Lowe said to MotorsportWeek.
