Hartley on the sidelines for qualifying, Gasly in doubt

Brendon Hartley will not take part in qualifying for the British Grand Prix following the Toro Rosso driver's suspension failure and subsequent massive crash in FP3. Early in the free practice session, as it was running down Silverstone's Wellington straight, Hartley's STR13 suffered a complete front-left suspension failure under braking that violently pitched the car into the barriers. Hamilton back on top in FP3 but Hartley has a close call While the Kiwi fortunately escaped unhurt, the extent of the damage to his car will prevent Hartley from taking part in Saturday afternoon's qualifying.
