Designers of next season's cars will "forget overtaking"
F1 car designers will "forget about overtaking" for the 2019 season, Haas team boss Gunther Steiner has warned. Changes were enforced at the end of April to change the design of the cars for 2019, following research that was done by F1, with the help of its teams. These changes include alterations to how front wings cope with airflow around the tyres. These aim to make it easier for drivers to follow another car closely and intensely. Steiner believes that it's too early on to think the changes will have the full desired effect. "These aero people, they do a study in a week, and they say 'this is what it is', then they do study of two months, and (the results are) completely...
