Bump across Shanghai start line removed

– Track resurfacing work at the Shanghai International Circuit has removed a sizeable bump across the start/finish line ahead of this year's Chinese Grand Prix.Shanghai, which joined the Formula 1 calendar in 2004, was built on swampland, which some people believe is the reason why several bumps have developed over the years.One such bump, on the start/finish line, caused problems during qualifying last year, with then Manor driver Pascal Wehrlein losing control in damp conditions.This has now been removed, however, with a section of the circuit resurfaced between the final corner and the back of the starting grid.In other changes, areas of badly worn grass between the track and the...
