Renault Sport Formula One Appoint New Head of Aero

Renault Sport Formula One Team has announced that they have appointed a new head of aerodynamics, Pete Machin, who will join the ranks at Enstone on 3 July 2017. Machin boasts an impressive employment history within the sport, having previously overseen the wind tunnel development at Red Bull Racing during their four-time Championship winning streak. He was also a senior CFD engineer at Arrows Formula One Team from 1997 to 2002, and served a stint at Jaguar Racing. Renault has also named Jon Tomlinson as their deputy head of aerodynamics.
