Warwick eyes 'compromise' over British GP
– British Racing Drivers' Club President Derek Warwick is hopeful that Silverstone can find a "compromise" over the future of the British Grand Prix beyond 2019.Silverstone, owned by the BRDC, holds a contract to host the event until 2026, but a letter written to members by Chairman John Grant, written pre-Christmas, suggests a contract option could be activated.This gives Silverstone the option to drop the race after 2019, though the option must be exercised before the 2017 running of the event.Warwick, though, is optimistic that Silverstone can continue to hold the race into the next decade."Basically, we're in January, Bernie [Ecclestone] has nothing to talk about...
