Future of British Grand Prix at Silverstone under threat

The future of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone is in doubt, with the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) thinking about the possibility of activating a break clause to drop the Formula 1 race. The clause within their contract, means they can end its deal at the end of the 2019 F1 season. If this decision becomes reality, Silverstone need to inform Bernie Ecclestone ahead of this year's race. For a while now, this clause has been known about. With the excessive cost of hosting the annual race, this is making the threat of activating the break clause a reality.
