Hamilton edges Rosberg to stay fastest – FP2 Report

Brazilian Grand Prix – Lewis Hamilton retained the top spot ahead of team-mate Nico Rosberg in the second free practice session. Warmer conditions prevented drivers from replicating the 1 minute 11 second times witnessed in the morning session, but the Mercedes of Hamilton still managed to secure the first place on the timing screens with a 1:12.271, holding only a 0.030 advantage over Rosberg. Discussions were heard between Rosberg and his race engineer regarding another timed lap, but it was decided to not put additional mileage on the power unit.
