Esteban Gutierrez: “The whole weekend we were pretty consistent”
Esteban Gutierrez finished eleventh for the fifth time in 2016 in the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, and is still seeking his first points of the season. The Haas F1 Team driver felt there were positives to take away from the Marina Bay Street Circuit however, with his VF16 feeling consistent throughout the race, which bodes well for the upgrade they brought to Singapore this weekend. Gutierrez felt he lost some time at the start of the race that made him overheat his tyres as he tried to recover, which ultimately cost him towards the end of the stint, but the Mexican was proud of his team after a far from simple weekend. “It wasn’t an easy race, but I think the whole weekend we were...
