Alonso unsure if reaching Q3 would be beneficial

Fernando Alonso is unsure if it would be beneficial for his McLaren team to reach the third segment of qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix. The Spanish driver had a promising Friday, posting the seventh fastest time in second practice despite the team having expected the Monza race to be one of the most difficult given the nature of the circuit. While Alonso downplayed his chances of reaching Q3 despite today's showing, the McLaren driver said that it was not clear if starting from the top 10 would be good for him given he would have to do it with the supersoft tyres.
