Bite-size tech: Haas VF-16 front wing

The introduction of its 'double-wave' rear wing means that Haas has to balance the aerodynamic load on its car. This is being achieved with a front wing we last saw at Silverstone but clearly has to be run differently at Monza in order to achieve its goals. Compared with the other front wing at its disposal (below), this low-downforce wing is much less fussy, with several components removed to change how the air moves around the front tyre. You'll note from the position of the wing adjuster that the upper two flaps are currently relaxed significantly, this is something that may change as each driver dials in its set-up during the free practice sessions.
