Alonso sure Honda update marks 'step forward'
– Fernando Alonso says he is sure that Honda's updated power unit will mark a "step forward", despite his limited and dialled-down running during Belgian Grand Prix practice.Honda spent seven development tokens ahead of this weekend's race at Spa-Francorchamps, focused on updates to its Internal Combustion Engine and Turbocharger.Alonso completed just three laps in FP1, after a water leak from the ERS, which forced him to take on another power unit, resulting in a 35-place grid penalty for Sunday's race.He returned to action in the afternoon, placing 12th with 30 laps, but ran conservative engine settings, and is eager to discover the power unit's full potential in...
