Verstappen pleased with “smooth qualifying”

Despite sitting in sixth place in the Formula One World Championship and holding the title of the youngest driver ever to win a Grand Prix, Max Verstappen had never driven a Formula One car at the Hockenheimring before this weekend.  Nevertheless, the young driver put in a strong performance in qualifying for the German Grand Prix, with an impressive fourth place with a time of 1:14.834. The Dutch teenager felt positive with his performance, especially as he placed ahead of both Ferrari drivers, including Kimi Raikkonen, who he had a close, and controversial, battle with at last weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix. “I’m feeling really good, it was a smooth qualifying,' said Verstappen. ...
