'Kvyat to be dropped by Red Bull' – Russian media

German Grand Prix – According to Russian media reports, Daniil Kvyat will not be kept on by the brand as a driver for 2017. The beleaguered young Russian driver, who started the year alongside Daniel Ricciardo at the senior Red Bull team, was demoted to the junior Toro Rosso team after an, at best, steady start to the season. However, a calamitous home race which saw Kvyat collide with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel twice in two corners and also compromise Ricciardo's race saw Kvyat replaced at RBR by Max Verstappen from Toro Rosso, with Kvyat slotting into the Dutchman's seat.
