Alonso: McLaren in 'mini-championship'

– Fernando Alonso feels that McLaren is racing in another "mini-championship" behind frontrunners Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari, after his run to seventh position at the Hungarian Grand Prix.Alonso was the highest finisher to be lapped at the Hungaroring, passing Carlos Sainz Jr. at the start to initially hold sixth, before losing out to Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen, who started 14th.Although encouraged by McLaren and power unit partner Honda's progress over the course of the season so far, the two-time World Champion admits seventh is the maximum on offer at present."It's a pity we couldn't improve [on seventh], but still I think we were best of the rest,"...
