Perez: A big shame

Sergio Perez's Austrian Grand Prix ended on the final lap as his Force India suffered brake failure, sending him straight on into the barriers. Perez was lapping in eighth place at the Red Bull Ring as he looked to bring his VJM09 home inside the points. That eighth place could have been a seventh on the line as he stuck close to Romain Grosjean, who was set to have a five-second penalty added to his finishing time. However, instead of taking points, Perez found himself hurtling across the gravel and into the barriers at Turn 3 as his car's brakes failured.
