Pirelli expecting one-stop in cool weather

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli is expecting a one-stop strategy to be favoured by teams at the Canadian Grand Prix, though is wary that wet weather could affect proceedings.Pirelli has brought the Ultra Soft, Super Soft and Soft tyres to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, but cool conditions across the weekend have meant tyre warm-up, rather than wear, has been the focus.Should dry conditions prevail in the race, Pirelli expects an Ultra Soft/Soft approach to be taken by most drivers, with the yellow-banded tyre mandatory for one stint of the race."With uncertain weather conditions, there were a number of question marks during qualifying that will be carried through to the...
