Claire Williams awarded an OBE
– Williams Deputy Team Principal and Commercial Director Claire Williams has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's 2016 Birthday Honours List.Claire, daughter of team co-founder Sir Frank, joined Williams in 2002 as a Communications Officer, before becoming Head of Communications for the Grove-based outfit in 2010.She was promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications in 2012, and was named Deputy Team Principal a year later, overseeing back-to-back third place finishes in 2014 and 2015."It is a very proud day for me, but this is also a bit of a surprise," said Williams."To be recognised in this way is a tremendous...
