Honda set for engine upgrade in Monaco or Canada
Honda is set to introduce its first engine upgrade of the 2016 Formula 1 season either at the Monaco Grand Prix, or at the power sensitive Canadian GP, with the Japanese manufacturer attempting to aid McLaren leap into the ‘front-running' territory. McLaren are well wary of the regulation of using a maximum of five power units over the course of the season – and both drivers are now on their second internal combustion engine, having completed five Grand Prix's, and Honda are considering introducing the new-spec Honda power unit in Monaco or Canada.
