Wehrlein unveils new helmet design for F1 debut

©PascalWehrlein/Twitter Pascal Wehrlein has unveiled a new helmet design for his rookie F1 season. The Mercedes youngster will drive for Manor this season after winning last year's DTM championship, with his race seat confirmed last week. Having previously run a predominantly yellow and red design in 2015, the German - who also holds Mauritian nationality - has now posted an image of the helmet he will use in 2016. The design includes the number 94, which is a reference to his year of birth. Wehrlein revealed last week it will remain his race number after it was the one he used on his way to the DTM title in 2015. Current FIA regulations state drivers must retain the same helmet design...
