Perez's career not tied to Force India

Sergio Perez would like nothing more than to move up the grid with Force India, but if a more competitive drive came along he would not hesitate to take it should it provide an opportunity to further his career. Although he may be considered a seasoned Formula 1 driver with five seasons under his belt, the Mexican is just 25 years old and feels there is still much to be accomplished in Grand Prix racing. Perez enjoyed his best season to date in 2015 with Force India and while the team's margin of progress remains indisputable, he would not rule out a switch if a better opportunity for success came along.
