Kimi Raikkonen ‘could have been closer' to the Mercs
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Scuderia Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen claimed P3 on Sunday, and says he could have challenged the Mercs a little more had he not had a slow pitstop. Having qualified P3 on Saturday, Raikkonen finished in the same position having kept pressure on the leading Mercedes drivers for most of the race. Loitering around three seconds behind Lewis Hamilton for the first 15 laps of the race, Raikkonen slowly lost ground over the remainder of the race due to a slightly slow first pitstop, followed by a slower second one. His right front wheel gun failed at his second stop, meaning the team had to swap to the reserve gun. His stop was over 6 seconds, although this didn't end...
