Rossi thrilled by career-high home finish
Manor Marussia F1 Team Alexander Rossi hailed an 'incredibly exciting' United States Grand Prix as he claimed a career-high 12th place finish at his home race. Rossi survived contact at the first corner and moved up the order as several rivals retired, at one point leaving Rossi to believe that a point was possible. "It’s been a truly amazing week and to finish in 12th place is incredibly exciting for me and the team," he said. "I’m so proud to race well here in front of my home crowd and to equal the team’s best performance of the season in only my third Grand Prix.
