Force India elated with season-best qualifying
Force India achieved its best qualifying performance of the season with a sixth and seventh place at Sochi. The Silverstone-based team's previous best in 2015 came at the Italian Grand Prix, where it managed a seventh and ninth respectively. After topping a curtailed first practice on Friday, Nico Hulkenberg finished sixth and naturally was happy with the effort. "Our qualifying performance is a great team result. Even though we’ve had limited running here in practice, I’ve had a good feeling with the car – there is a nice balance and it’s giving me confidence," the German said after qualifying.
