McLaren confirms Button to stay for 2016

McLaren Honda McLaren has endured speculation regarding the future of Jenson Button by confirming that he will remain with the team into 2016. Button's future had been unclear in recent weeks but the 2009 world champion has now extended his deal with McLaren for a further season. "Over the past month or so I have done quite a lot of thinking, and it is no secret that I was at one point in two minds about my future," he said. "But I have been a McLaren driver for six seasons now, and in that time I have got to know [CEO] Ron [Dennis] very well.
