Bottas regrets having to sit out FP2

 XPB Images Valtteri Bottas was the sole notable absentee from Free Practice 2 in Suzuka on Friday, the Finn not taking part in any of the afternoon's session. Bottas had been disappointed with his morning pace which saw him finish with the tenth fastest time in seriously wet conditions, out of the 12 drivers who took part. His lap of 1:53.964s was four and a half seconds off the top FP1 time set by Carlos Sainz. While some of that difference can be put down to the fluctuating conditions, and Sainz timing his run on intermediate tyres when the waterlogged track was marginally at its best, Bottas was also worried about the overall disappointing handling of the Williams in the wet....
