Daniel Ricciardo thinks safety car timings affected victory chance

Singapore Grand Prix – Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Daniel Ricciardo says he reckons any chance of a race win was hampered by the timing of the two safety cars. There were two safety car periods during the race, one coming at the 1/3 mark of the race when Nico Hulkenberg & Felipe Massa collided at Turn 3. Then, another was deployed when a fan managed to get onto the circuit and walked along the back straight leaving the Anderson Bridge. Both safety car deployments came around the pit stop windows for a two stop strategy and essentially forced everybody to pit at the same time.
