Alonso: Points should be possible

Fernando Alonso says scoring points is a higher priority for McLaren than making it into Q3, and it is something he believes he can achieve in Singapore. Although the Spaniard was inside the top ten in Saturday's final practice for the Singapore Grand Prix, he only managed P12 in qualifying. Alonso was anything but disappointed with the outcome, confident he can build towards a points-scoring Sunday. He told the official F1 website: 'Points should be possible. 'In reality Q3 wasn't the highest priority for us.
